JIC has published white paper ‘Setting the stage for the future’

The Joint Initiative Council for Global Health Informatics Standardization (JIC) has published a white paper explaining how its nine health informatics standards development organizations (SDOs) have been working together to help transform the global healthcare system into one that’s digital with the goal of precise and real-time exchange of information based on full interoperability enabled by global standards. CEN/TC 251 is proud to be one of the founding organisations of the JIC.

Transcending national boundaries and organizations, the Joint Initiative Council’s SDOs work collaboratively to provide global, coordinated—not competitive—standards that address real-world healthcare issues. In its recently released white paper, the JIC explores the desired future of a digital health ecosystem where high-quality data is available to the right people, at the right place and at the right time for high-quality decisions and care.

Download this new white paper and learn how CEN/TC 251 and another eight global standards development organisations serving collectively as the JIC are proudly working together. We collaborate to build and continuously refine coordinated global standards that make high-quality data available to support healthcare decisions.
